The Center for Social Gerontology, Inc. (TCSG), is a national non-profit advocacy, research and policy organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the individual rights, autonomy and dignity of older persons and combating ageist attitudes that lead to policies that work against their dignity, autonomy and rights. Since our inception in 1972, TCSG has pursued this goal through a wide variety of projects, with objectives and activities evolving in response to emerging issues and as the needs of older persons and of an aging society have evolved. Throughout this entire time, however, our focus has been on preserving rights of the frail, the vulnerable, and the underrepresented who often are limited in their capacity to advocate on their own behalf.
